Order acknowledgement

Order acknowledgement is a written confirmation that the order is bookend or received. The sales manager or online software should issue you and order acknowledgement, as soon as you made an order booking, or purchase order. After receiving an Order acknowledgement it is being expected that customer should make a payment for ordered goods and services, and therefore you can expect to receive an invoice or the bill.

Therefore when writing acknowledgements page you should carefully consider everyone who helped during research process and show appreciation in the order of relevance. In this regard it is suitable to show appreciation in brief manner instead of using strong emotional phrases. In this part of your work it is normal to use personal pronouns like “I, my, me” while in the rest of the paper this articulation is not recommended. Even when acknowledging family members and friends make sure of using the wording of a relatively formal register.

Acknowledgement vs. acknowledgment

Both acknowledgment and acknowledgement appear in the English-speaking world, but acknowledgment, without the middle e, is preferred in the United States of America and Canada.  Hence, Acknowledgement is preferred outside North America. These preferences extend to the plural forms, acknowledgements and acknowledgments.

 

In the USA and Canada, acknowledgement appears about once for every two instances of acknowledgment. The ratio is the other way around in British and Australian publications, at least the ones that make their content searchable online. So no metter where you are writing, both forms are considered acceptable, but it may be safer to stick with the one that your readers are more likely to consider correct.
